Completing it awards the Zovaal's Soul Eater mount and a decor item. Renown 80 with all four covenants, a big part of the work, is mostly reached through catch-up today.
Leave the Shadowlands better than they were when you entered by completing the following achievements.
What the Shadowlands meta achievement asks for
Three raids: Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination and Sepulcher of the First Ones, every boss of each, on any difficulty, Raid Finder included.
Myths of the Shadowlands Dungeons asks for the eight dungeons on Mythic or in a keystone run, plus Tazavesh, the Veiled Market. Fake It 'Til You Make It asks you to reach So'leah with forged credentials, across two difficulties.
The covenants weigh the most. Dead Men Tell Some Tales wants the four covenant campaigns, which you can spread across characters. Re-Re-Re-Renowned wants Renown 80 with all four, Sanctum Superior all four Sanctum features at rank III on one character, and Chains of Domination nine story chapters, each waiting on a Renown number. Shadowlands Dilettante collects covenant side activities, from sixteen guests to sixteen constructs.
Tower Ranger covers Torghast: six Flawless layer 16 runs, Twisting Corridors: Layer 8 and a handful of challenges. Many, Many Things asks for every Box of Many Things talent, 3,510 Tower Knowledge in all.
Walking in Maw-mphis is The Maw: its rares, its special encounters, the Maw Hunts and Ve'nari. On the Offensive gathers the four covenant assaults in The Maw. From A to Zereth closes the list with Zereth Mortis: its campaign, treasures, rares, Cyphers of the First Ones and the reputation of The Enlightened.
The objectives that take the longest
Cyphers of the First Ones is weeks of waiting rather than cyphers gathered. Mush Appreciated takes twenty-eight days at full speed, A Sly Fox six weeks at least, and three of the Zereth Mortis treasures are locked behind research that takes two real weeks.
Watch out for Hunting Party as well: a trigger bug has blocked players on it for years, and its guide describes it.
The reward: Zovaal's Soul Eater
Completing Back from the Beyond awards the Zovaal's Soul Eater mount. The full reward, as Blizzard words it:
Mount: Zovaal's Soul Eater; Decor Reward: Portal to Damnation

Track Back from the Beyond with your character
The tracker reads your character’s achievements and shows, for each of the 16 requirements, what is done and what is left. The guides cover every objective of the meta, one page each.
