About WowMetaTracker
WowMetaTracker is a tracker for World of Warcraft meta achievements. Expansion by expansion, it shows what your character has already done, what is left, and how to finish it.
What is a meta achievement?
In World of Warcraft, a meta achievement is an achievement made of other achievements. Each recent expansion has one that sums it up: its raids, its dungeons, its zones, its storylines and its side activities, gathered under a single name.
Each of the four metas tracked here awards a mount. A meta asks for dozens of achievements, which themselves hold hundreds of steps, so it is easy to lose track of what is left.
Why use a tracker for meta achievements?
A meta achievement is easy to start and hard to finish. Its requirements are nested: one achievement of the meta can itself ask for dozens of others, each with its own steps, its own unlocks and sometimes its own weekly rotation.
WowMetaTracker unfolds the whole tree for your character at once: every branch, every missing step, and a guide next to each one. You see where you stand without opening every achievement one by one.
What the site does
A tracker for your character
Type your character’s name and realm: the site reads its achievements from Blizzard’s public API and shows, branch by branch, what is done and what stands between you and the mount.
A guide for every step
479 guides, one per objective, explain what each achievement asks, where to go and what tends to go wrong.
In three languages
The site is available in English, French and German. Achievement and mount names come from Blizzard’s own translations.
What the guides cover
Each guide covers one objective: what it actually asks, where to go, what to unlock first and what tends to go wrong. When an objective is a place, the guide gives its coordinates. Every guide exists in English, French and German.
The four metas tracked
One page per expansion: the achievements required, their guides and the reward.

- No. The tracker works with a character name and realm. An account only keeps your pinned objectives and the characters you save.
- Where does the data come from?
- Your character’s achievements come from Blizzard’s public API. Achievement and mount names come from Blizzard’s own catalogue, in each language.
- Which expansions are covered?
- Four: Battle for Azeroth, Shadowlands, Dragonflight and The War Within, each with its meta achievement and its mount.
