There is no company behind WowMetaTracker, and no large development team. Just a World of Warcraft player who loves collecting achievements and decided to build the tool he had wanted to use for years.
I develop this project on my own, in my spare time, with a fairly simple idea: making the hunt for meta achievements more enjoyable, more approachable and above all better organized.
No ads, no mandatory subscription, and guides that are free for everyone.
479

If WowMetaTracker helps you on your adventures, you can support its development by symbolically buying me a coffee. It is entirely optional, but every contribution is real motivation to keep the project moving forward. 🙂
I have always loved achievements in World of Warcraft. Exploring an expansion from end to end, finishing collections, unlocking rewards and seeing a long list of objectives finally completed: that is a part of the game I particularly enjoy.
But once you take on meta achievements, things get complicated fast. Some of them ask for dozens of objectives spread across several zones, dungeons or activities. And between the achievements buried in menus, the criteria that are hard to make sense of and the guides scattered over different sites, it is sometimes difficult to know where you stand.
So I set out to build WowMetaTracker.
The idea? Find all your meta achievements in one place, follow your progress automatically and know exactly what is left to do.
I also wanted to go further by attaching guides directly to the objectives they cover. No more piling up tabs to work out how to finish an achievement: the information is right there, where you need it.
Today the site offers close to 500 guides, written with the help of artificial intelligence. I would rather be transparent about that. AI is what made this library possible, but it does not make the content perfect. I am rereading it, correcting it and filling it out bit by bit to make it ever more useful and reliable.
WowMetaTracker keeps growing, little by little, at the pace of my evenings and weekends.
WowMetaTracker also grows thanks to the players who tell others about it.
If you know someone who collects achievements, who is trying to finish a meta or who simply likes exploring everything World of Warcraft has to offer, feel free to share the site with them.
A message to a friend, a link on Discord or a word in your guild: that already helps enormously.
Thank you for keeping this little project alive with me. 💙
