What the achievement asks
Complete thirty-six special encounters on Mechagon Island. Ten points, account-wide, both factions.
It is the largest rare list in Battle for Azeroth, larger than any zone's, and it is the only one where most of the list cannot be found by going to a coordinate. Mechagon spawns its rares through machinery: drill rigs that run on a daily rotation, a visitor whose quest decides what appears, items you have to craft first, and one rare that only exists in a shifted version of the island.

The four kinds of rare
Mechagon is worth understanding before you start flying, because a third of this list will simply not be there.
Always up. About a dozen respawn on a timer and behave like rares anywhere else. Take these first, on any visit.
Drill rigs. Six of them are tied to a specific drill rig, and the rigs rotate daily. If DR-TR35 is not the rig running today, Earthbreaker Gulroc does not exist. Check which rig is active before making the trip.
The visitor of the day. Rustbolt hosts one guest at a time, and their quest decides what spawns. Fungarian Furor needs Aid From Nordrassil to be the active quest; Sparkqueen P'Emp needs Bugs, Lots of 'Em!; OOX-Avenger/MG needs Oglethorpe Obnoticus to be in town.
Made or provoked. Malfunctioning Beastbot has to be summoned with a crafted powerpack. The Doppel Gang needs three pressure relief valves. Crazed Trogg stands there peacefully until you use the paint on him. Vaultbot has to be kited across the island to a specific gnome before it can be killed.
This achievement cannot be done in one afternoon at any level. The daily rotation of the drill rigs and the visitor is a hard gate, and clearing all thirty-six takes at least a fortnight of checking what is running.
Two that share a coordinate
Gorged Gear-Cruncher and Caustic Mechaslime are both at 69.2 53.4, and neither is reachable from there. They live inside different drill rig tunnels: Gear-Cruncher through the DR-CC61 entrance at 77.5 50.2, Mechaslime through the DR-CC73 entrance at 66.5 58.9.
Flying to the shared coordinate finds solid rock. Go to the entrance that matches the rig running today.
The Rusty Prince is somewhere else entirely
The Rusty Prince exists only in the time-shifted version of Mechagon. If the day's visitor quest has already shifted the island, he is at the coordinate. If not, crafting a Personal Time Displacer shifts you there yourself.
It is the one rare on the list that can be reached on any day, provided you have made the device.
