What the achievement asks
Complete fifteen quests from the visitors to Mechagon. Ten points, account-wide, both factions.
Rustbolt receives one guest at a time, and each guest brings their own quest. Fifteen of the thirty-one available is enough.
One visitor a day
The visitor rotates daily, and you do not choose who turns up. Fifteen different quests therefore takes at least fifteen days, and in practice longer, because the same guest can come round again before you have seen everyone.
Check who is in Rustbolt every day and take their quest before doing anything else on the island. It costs a minute, and a day where you forget is a day added to the end.
The visitor also decides which rares exist
This is the part worth knowing beyond the achievement itself. Three of the thirty-six encounters in Rest In Pistons only spawn while a particular visitor quest is active:
- Fungarian Furor needs Aid From Nordrassil.
- Sparkqueen P'Emp needs Bugs, Lots of 'Em!.
- OOX-Avenger/MG needs Oglethorpe Obnoticus to be in town.
And The Other Place is the quest that shifts the island in time, which is when The Rusty Prince can be found without crafting anything.
So the daily check is not just for this achievement: it tells you whether today is the day to go and kill something you have been waiting on.
