What the achievement asks

Kill all twenty-one rare creatures of The Maw. Ten points, account-wide, both factions.

Not ten of twenty-one, not any subset: all of them. That matters, because four of the twenty-one cannot be killed alone, and they are the reason this single achievement blocks people out of the whole expansion meta.

The four Heralds are the problem

Three of them, Apholeias, Ekphoras and Talaporas, have to be summoned, and the summoning takes several players standing together. Killing the three then yields pieces that combine to bring out the fourth, Exos, Herald of Domination.

There is no solo route to the Heralds, and no way to buy past it. In an expansion nobody visits any more, finding three other people in The Maw is the whole difficulty of this achievement, and it is a common complaint years later.

Two things do work.

The group finder. Parties for these form constantly while people chase the meta, and it is by far the least effort.

Your own extra characters. Players have done it with free trial accounts: level a character to ten on each, run them through Chromie to Shadowlands until the campaign sends them to The Maw, then use Party Sync so a max-level main can see and lead them. It is slow to set up and it works.

Exos also sits behind a gate that may need the Necrolord assault active in the zone, so check that before making the trip to him.

Getting into the south at all

Half of these live in parts of The Maw that are closed to a character arriving fresh.

Perdition Hold and the Altar of Domination sit behind gates that open with covenant campaign progress. The Beastwarrens, Ravener's Lament, Marrow's Coppice and Desmotaeron need standing with Ve'nari, and until you are further along with her they apply a fear that makes fighting there miserable.

Do Trading Partners first. Ve'nari's reputation is not a side quest here: it is what opens the zone, and every other Maw achievement is easier behind it.
