Treasures of Vol'dun

Discover the hidden treasures of Vol'dun.

  • Ashvane Spoils
  • Grayal's Last Offering
  • Lost Explorer's Bounty
  • Sandfury Reserve
  • Stranded Cache
  • Excavator's Greed
  • Zem'lan's Buried Treasure
  • Lost Offerings of Kimbul
  • Deadwood Chest
  • Sandsunken Treasure

Ten named treasures across Vol'dun, four of which need a cart, a bobber, a climb or a finished story.

What the achievement asks

Find ten named treasures across Vol'dun. Ten points, account-wide, both factions.

Only these ten count. Vol'dun is littered with ordinary chests that look identical and do nothing here, so check the name before you celebrate.

Six of them you walk or climb to. The other four need a specific way in, and one of them can be blocked by something happening elsewhere in the zone.

The ten

Each treasure on video

Ten short clips, one per treasure. Half of these are climbs rather than searches, and a clip settles a climb faster than a paragraph.

The four that need something

Ashvane Spoils (44.33, 92.22) is not reachable on foot. Take the mine cart at 46.59, 88.01 and ride it down; the treasure is at the end of the line.

Sandsunken Treasure (26.49, 45.36) needs the Abandoned Bobber on the shore, which you use to fish the chest out.

The Abandoned Bobber does not spawn while the naga invasion world quest is running in the Forgotten Marsh. If there is nothing on the shore, that is why. Come back when the invasion is over.

Grayal's Last Offering (48.20, 64.69) is inside the Atul'Aman pyramid, and it is a doorway on the east side rather than a door to open. Walk in, go round the pillar either way, into the room, click the altar. The chest then appears, and you click that too.

It also needs the Atul'Aman story done, up to and including Defeat Jakra'zet. Before that the room is not yours to enter.

Lost Offerings of Kimbul (57.06, 11.20) is on top of the temple, not inside it. With flying this reads as an odd instruction; go up, not in.
