Eat Your Greens

Sample all of the edible plants within Nazmir.

  • Saurolisk Tail Nibs
  • Bwonsamdi's Tears
  • Gnarl Root
  • Sapphire Amaraina
  • Krag'wa's Ire
  • Stonebloom

Sample the six edible plants of Nazmir: four grow everywhere, and two are the reason this one stalls.

What the achievement asks

Six edible plants grow across Nazmir. Walk up to each one and take it. Eating a plant gives you a short buff, and it is that buff, not the plant, that ticks the criterion off.

There is nothing to kill, nothing to unlock, and no order to follow. Progress is account-wide, both factions can do it, and the plants sit out in the open.

Four of the six grow almost everywhere in the zone. The whole achievement comes down to the other two.

The six, and what they give you

  • Stonebloom, more than forty places in the zone. Reduces damage taken by 10% for 5 minutes.
  • Gnarl Root, about as common. Increases Versatility by 10% for 10 minutes.
  • Sapphire Amaraina, common but only in the northern half. Increases Mastery by 10% for 10 minutes.
  • Bwonsamdi's Tears, eleven places, all in the middle of the zone. Increases all stats by 5% for 10 minutes, and takes 10% off your maximum health.
  • Krag'wa's Ire, ten places. Increases damage done by 15% for 5 minutes, but only while you are in Nazmir.
  • Saurolisk Tail, five places. Increases critical strike chance by 10%.

The two that hold people up

Saurolisk Tail and Krag'wa's Ire are the reason this achievement stalls. Between them they grow in fifteen spots across a very large zone, so wandering and hoping will not get you there.

Saurolisk Tail, the rarest of the six:

Note the pair in the south: two of the five sit within a few paces of each other, so that corner is worth the trip even if the first one has been picked.

Krag'wa's Ire:

These cluster in three places: the north-west around the Sethrak country, the far south near the swamp islands, and a small pocket in the middle east of the zone. The southern cluster sits close to two of the Saurolisk Tail spots, so do that corner in one trip.

Bwonsamdi's Tears

Eleven spots, all through the centre of the zone, so you will probably pass one without looking. If you do not:

The three common ones

Stonebloom and Gnarl Root grow all over Nazmir, forty-odd spots each, so they take care of themselves while you are hunting the rare two.

Sapphire Amaraina is just as common but not evenly spread: nearly all of it grows in the northern half of the zone, along the top edge and down the eastern side. If it is the one you are missing, stop looking in the south.

Do the two rare plants first and let the common ones fall into your lap on the way. Doing it the other way round is how people end up with five of six and a long walk ahead.
