What the achievement asks
Rescue fifty vulpera in Vol'dun. Five points, account-wide, Horde only.
This is not tied to a world quest, whatever the wording suggests. People have put it off for months waiting for something to appear on their map. Nothing appears: the vulpera are out there right now.
The fast way
The landmark is the rare Scorpox.
There is a stretch of road where sethrak wardens march with captive vulpera, and the captives count the moment you break the escort.
Ride north from there, pulling every sethrak escort you pass. Each run past is worth roughly ten vulpera. Then break line of sight or simply outrun them: the escorts reset, the captives respawn, and you ride the same stretch again.
Five passes is fifty vulpera, and the whole thing takes under five minutes.
With a flying mount it is even simpler. Pull the escorts, then fly straight up. Everything resets instantly, you drop back down, and you go again without the running.
If you would rather be precise about it: killing the wardens who hold a vulpera in shackles gives the same credit.
Other things that count
Worth knowing if you are passing through anyway, though none of them is faster than the loop above:
- Mining Azeroth, a world quest in the zone, has vulpera held captive at the dig. Killing their captors frees them and counts.
- The Vol'dun story frees a great many of them. After Ready to Riot you can interact with the Vulpera Slaves at the Crater of Conquerors, and The Master Key at the Ashvane Encampment does the same.
If you are levelling through the zone for the first time, you may well finish this one without ever aiming for it.
