Adventurer of Vol'dun

What the achievement asks

Complete twenty-eight special encounters across Vol'dun: rare creatures, a few of them tucked in caves, and nothing that needs a group. Ten points, account-wide, both factions.

It is the longest of the Vol'dun achievements and the least demanding. There is no timer and no competition that matters, and a Battle for Azeroth rare dies quickly at current levels. What it costs is one careful lap of a very large desert.

That order runs across the north, down the eastern edge, back through the middle, then south through Zem'lan.

Twenty-eight short clips, one per encounter. Vol'dun is built in tiers, so watching thirty seconds usually beats circling a mesa.

The ones you cannot walk straight to

Most of the twenty-eight are standing in the open. These nine need a way in, and the coordinate is the creature rather than the door.

• Azer'tor (49.04, 89.04) is in the Redrock Mines. Cave entrance at 47.81, 87.94.
• King Clickyclack (37.96, 40.68) is in a cave, entrance at 37.37, 40.50.
• Skycaller Teskris (47.06, 25.56) is in a cave, entrance at 46.15, 27.15.
• Hivemother Kraxi (53.75, 53.40) is in a cave at 53.81, 51.21, entered from the north.
• Zunashi the Exile (43.90, 53.96) is in an underground cave at 44.01, 52.41.
• Nez'ara (43.76, 86.23) is inside a cave at Redrock Harbor.
• Ak'tar (50.37, 81.60) sits on a hill on the Redrock Mesa. Go in from the north-east, the other sides do not climb.
• Ashmane (54.66, 15.34) is out on the rock in the middle of the Bouldered Bluffs.

Four more need a specific approach road rather than a cave mouth: Bloodwing Bonepicker by the hill road at 58.32, 53.15; Gut-Gut the Glutton by the road up at 62.46, 48.11; Kamid the Trapper by the road up at 36.48, 50.29; Sirokar by the road up at 24.95, 69.73; and Vathikur by the road up at 55.48, 71.21.
