What the achievement asks
Complete thirty-two special encounters across Nazmir: rare creatures, summoned bosses, and a handful of objects that start a fight. Ten points, account-wide, both factions.
It is the longest of the Nazmir achievements and by far the least difficult. There is no timer, no competition that matters, and rares in a Battle for Azeroth zone die quickly at current levels. What it costs you is one careful lap of the map.
Two of the thirty-two have a history of refusing to register: Gwugnug the Cursed and Xu'ba the Bone Collector. Read the last section before you assume you missed them.
The full lap
The full list, with a clip each
Thirty-two short clips, one per encounter. Faster than reading a description when a marker turns out to be a cliff.

The ones that are not just a kill
Most of the list is walk up, kill, tick. Six are not.
- Cursed Chest (81.81, 30.57) summons Captain Mu'kala. Click the chest again after he dies, or you get the kill and no credit. This is the single most common way to finish the lap one short.
- Lost Scroll (81.69, 61.05) summons an Enraged Water Elemental. Same idea: the object starts it.
- Chag's Challenge (68.10, 20.23) is a conversation first. Speak to Chag, then kill Lucille.
- Za'amar the Queen's Blade (38.72, 26.74) is underground in the Necropolis Catacombs; the entrance is at 38.77, 29.08.
- Infected Direhorn (24.96, 77.78) is in a cave behind the waterfall, entrance around 25.44, 77.68.
- Blood Priest Xak'lar (43.06, 90.33) is in a cave, entrance around 43.17, 90.46.
Two more are worth a note for the walk in: Jax'teb the Reanimated is reached by the road starting at 44.61, 53.97, turning left; Mala'kili and Rohnkor by the road down from 57.84, 51.01. And Wardrummer Zurula is at the top of a tower, not at its foot.
When a kill does not count
Gwugnug the Cursed and Xu'ba the Bone Collector have failed to award credit for years, off and on, since the Shadowlands pre-patch. The kill happens, the hidden tracking quest behind it does not fire.
If you are stuck on either of them, these are the things that have worked for people, and they cost nothing to try:
- Kill Xu'ba while his own world quest is active. This is the most reported fix for him.
- Be alone. Not in a party when you land the killing blow.
- Try with War Mode off, and then on. Both states have been reported as the one that finally worked, which suggests the fix is simply a fresh instance of the rare rather than the setting itself.
- Come back on a different character and kill it again.
It has also been reported working normally on recent patches, so if you are doing this now there is a fair chance neither gives you any trouble at all.
