What the achievement asks
Find the twelve hidden treasures of the Isle of Dorn. Five points, account-wide.
Half of them are objects lying on the ground. The other half are small puzzles with a character to talk to and something to fetch, and those are the ones that make this a two-hour job rather than a twenty-minute one.

The four that are simply lying there
Jade Pearl, Infused Cinderbrew, Kobold Pickaxe and Web-Wrapped Axe need nothing but the trip. Fly to the coordinate, click, done. Do these first: they tell you quickly whether the shared cooldown described below is going to be a problem for you today.
Tree's Treasure: six crabs
Start in the cave behind the waterfall north of Dornogal, at 48.58 30.08, and talk to Freysworn Letitia for the Crab-Guiding Branch. Then visit the six coordinates above and use the branch on a Pearlescent Shellcrab at each, which sends it home. The treasure appears in the cave when all six have arrived.
The crabs are small, sand-coloured and tucked under trees and rocks. Do not hunt for them by eye. Put this in your chat and press enter when you are near the coordinate:
/tar Pearlescent ShellcrabIf it targets something, the crab is within range and your character will face it. That turns each stop from a five-minute search into ten seconds.
Magical Treasure Chest: feed Lionel
Lionel is an angler fish stranded under a rock pillar on the small island south-west of Dornogal, at 40.59 59.95. Talk to him and kick him into the water. He then wants feeding.
Search the shoreline of that same island for five Plump Snapcrab. They blend into the sand, so use the same trick:

Mushroom Cap, Mosswool Flower, Thak's Treasure and the Orb
Mushroom Cap. U'llort the Self-Exiled stands on the large rock at 55.00 65.64 and wants his hat back. The Boskroot Cap is a random spawn in the forest to the south, most often reported around 52.64 67.07 and 53.07 68.33. Pick it up, bring it back, take the treasure.
Mosswool Flower. North of Rambleshire, a Lost Mosswool sheep waits at 59.62 24.59. Click it and it trots south. Click it again at 59.12 27.07, and a third time at 59.75 28.71. After the third click it settles and the treasure appears where it stops, though not always instantly.
Thak's Treasure. One-Eyed Thak at 38.05 43.54 wants to play a question game. Answer the prompts, he leads you to a rock, and clicking the rock gives you the treasure.
Mysterious Orb. Two steps. Find the Elemental Pearl at the foot of the waterfall around 53.05 18.56, underwater, then take it to the Weary Water Elemental at 53.99 19.18.
Turtle's Thanks is not a puzzle, it is a wait
This one cannot be finished in a session. The Dalaran Sewer Turtle near Freywold asks for three separate deliveries, and there is a long cooldown between each request. Players report waiting twenty minutes for the second and coming back the next day for the third.
Bring everything before you start, because being short of an item wastes a whole cooldown. You need 5 Dornish Pike, 1 Fish and Chips and 1 Goldengill Trout. All three can be bought on the auction house, which is far quicker than fishing them, and this is the one treasure where buying is genuinely the sensible choice.
After the last delivery the turtle relocates to Dornogal, where he and three friends hand over the whistle.
The shared cooldown that makes people think it is bugged
Infused Cinderbrew, Kobold Pickaxe and Web-Wrapped Axe sit on a long respawn that is shared across everyone on your shard, and Shimmering Opal Lily despawns the moment anyone picks it up.
Arriving at a correct coordinate and finding nothing is therefore normal rather than a sign that you are in the wrong place. Note which ones were empty, do the puzzles, and come back. Hopping to a quieter shard or trying early in the morning works for the same reason it works everywhere else.
Where it fits
One of the pieces of You Xal Not Pass, which rewards the Shadow of Doubt mount and is part of Worldsoul-Searching, the War Within meta. The rares of Adventurer of the Isle of Dorn and the glyphs of Isle of Dorn Glyph Hunter are on the same lap of the island, so do the three together.
