What the achievement asks

Loot at least one of each of the twelve types of treasure in the post-storm Forbidden Reach. Five points, account-wide.

Buy the scroll first

Before anything else, go to Cataloger Daela at Dragonscale Basecamp and buy a Reliquary Scroll of Perception. It costs 2,000 Elemental Overflow and it puts every treasure on your minimap for a full hour.

Without it you are searching an island by eye for objects the size of a bucket. With it, this achievement is an afternoon. The buff also keeps running while you are logged out, so buying one and then stopping for the evening wastes it: pop it when you are about to fly.

The scroll has two blind spots that players hit again and again. Blazing Cairn and Morqut Provisions often do not appear on the minimap even with the buff up. For those two, use the Anomaly Detection Mark I buff instead, which reaches further and sees through walls.

The twelve, and a spawn point for each

These are not fixed treasures. Each type has many spawn points and only some are up at any moment, so the coordinates below are places one is known to appear rather than places one will be waiting.

TypeCoordinatesWhere the type lives
Forbidden Hoard38.30 50.50Anywhere. Shows on the map when up; kill the mobs around it to unlock
Avian Trove57.80 49.10Anywhere, usually at the base of trees
Obsidian Coffer59.10 42.00Anywhere, several close together in and around the War Creche
Spellsworn Reserves53.80 56.20The War Creche, among the elite Spellsworn
Bone Pile37.35 67.74Anywhere, a little more often on Dragonskull Island
Farscale Cache73.10 68.90Wherever the Farscale naga are: the Siege Creche, the eastern shores
Irontide Stash36.84 76.59The small islands and coasts held by the Irontide pirates
Storm-Eater Cairn70.70 63.20The Stormsunder Crater, in front of the Siege Creche
Stonescaled Cairn72.30 57.20The Stormsunder Crater
Blazing Cairn74.80 57.50The Stormsunder Crater, and inside the Siege Creche
Frozenheart Cairn59.10 42.00The Stormsunder Crater, Froststone Peak, and inside Froststone Vault
Morqut Provisions36.97 76.57The west coast, along the strip from roughly 63 down to 82

The two that everybody finishes last

Morqut Provisions is the one people write comments about. It sits on the west coast and it frequently refuses to show on the minimap. Players have confirmed it at 36.97 76.57, 38.97 70.53, 39.02 63.31 and 37.76 82.23, which is the same coastal strip seen four times. Fly that strip slowly with Anomaly Detection up rather than circling the whole island.

Irontide Stash is second, for the same reason: pirates are only on the coasts and the small offshore islands, so most of your circuit passes nowhere near one. Confirmed at 36.84 76.59 and 35.74 17.41.

Three things that make treasures invisible

Fly low. Several players found that at height the treasures never reached their minimap at all. Skim the ground.

Go into the caves separately. The icon often appears only once your minimap has switched to the cave's own map. The Caldera of the Menders, Froststone Vault, the Stormsunder Crater vault, the Old Weyrn Grounds and the central Creche all have their own interiors, and treasures inside them are invisible from outside. Their entrances are marked on the zone map.

Somebody else already looted it. These are shared containers. When one player takes a treasure it vanishes from everyone's minimap but stays lootable for roughly thirty seconds, so a treasure that disappears as you approach is often still there. And you cannot loot while in combat, so shake off whatever is hitting you first.

The order that saves hours

Do not hunt the twelve types. Hunt volume, and the twelve types arrive on their own.

The advice that comes up again and again from people who finished the branch is to aim at Hoarder of the Forbidden Reach, which wants a hundred small treasures, and to only start looking for specific types once that is done. By a hundred treasures most players are missing one or two names at most, and those are the two above.

Treasures also respawn in batches rather than one at a time. A tactic several people swear by is to park somewhere central, such as the middle of the Stormsunder Crater, wait out the ten to thirty minutes, and then sweep the island in one pass while everything is up.

War Mode on, off-peak hours, or a quiet realm all help for the same reason: fewer people taking the same objects.

Where it fits

One of eleven under You Know How to Reach Me, a piece of A World Awoken. Everything you open here also drops the Zskera Vault Key that Door Buster needs 150 of.
