What the achievement asks
Kill each of the three Primalist monsters that can end the Storm's Fury event in the Primalist Future. Five points, account-wide.
The three
| Boss | Element |
|---|---|
| Glakis, Winter's Wrath | Winter |
| Nimbulatus, Storm's Wrath | Storm |
| Seismodor, Earth's Wrath | Earth |
Only one appears per event, so this is three events minimum, and in practice more because the same boss comes up repeatedly.
How the event works
Four portals are marked on your map. Each is taken by defending it against waves of Primalists until it closes, and a boss only spawns once enough of them are shut.
A closed portal can be retaken. Leaving one unguarded to run to the next undoes work you have already done, which is why an event with too few players never reaches a boss at all. On a quiet shard you can spend the full window fighting and see nothing spawn.
If you are trying to hold portals with a thin group, buy Armaments of the Scale beforehand, up to nine of them. They permanently buff the friendly defenders, who otherwise get steamrolled between your visits.
The mistake that costs you Seismodor
Do not burn Seismodor down. At 50% health he casts Fracture and splits into Seis and Modor, and it is killing those two that ticks the criterion. Kill him before the split and you finish the event with nothing to show for it.
This is why so many comments call the achievement bugged. It is not: a competent group simply deletes him through the split. Hold damage at half health, let the cast finish, then kill both halves.
The clock
Storm's Fury runs on roughly a five-hour cycle: up for about four hours, then an hour with nothing. Within a window it can be finished in half an hour when the zone is busy, so arriving at the start of a window is worth much more than arriving in the middle of one.
The boss order players have observed runs Earth, then Storm, then Winter. Treat that as a hint rather than a schedule, but it does mean that if you have just killed Seismodor, Nimbulatus is the likely next one.
Where it fits
One of ten under Closing Time, which rewards the Bestowed Sandskimmer and is a piece of A World Awoken.
