What the achievement asks
Find the 8 dragon glyphs of the Forbidden Reach. Twenty points, account-wide, both factions.
A glyph is not a fight and not a puzzle. It hangs in the air, usually on top of something tall, and you collect it by flying into it.

The coordinate is the easy half
Almost every one of these is above the point on your map, not on it. A glyph marked "on top of the tower" is at the tower's coordinate and forty metres up, and flying to the spot at ground level finds nothing.
That is what the videos are for. Each link opens at the second that glyph is collected, so you see the approach rather than guessing the altitude. The ones described as "in the air" have no landmark at all, and those are the ones worth watching first.
What they are for
Glyphs are the currency of the dragonriding talent tree. Every one you pick up buys progress toward the abilities that make a drake fast and manageable, so this is the achievement that makes every other flying task in the expansion easier.
Collect the glyphs before chasing race medals. The advice from people who have done both is unanimous: races run with a half-finished talent tree are a different and much harder game.
