What the achievement asks
Complete the seven storylines of the patch 10.1 campaign, leading up to and inside Zaralek Cavern. Ten points, account-wide.
The seven
| Storyline | Where it happens |
|---|---|
| A Creche Divided | The Forbidden Reach |
| Breaking Ground | Zaralek Cavern |
| Sundered Legacy | Zaralek Cavern |
| The Ancient Bargain | Zaralek Cavern |
| Inherited Sin | Zaralek Cavern |
| Inevitable Confrontation | Zaralek Cavern |
| A Flame, Extinguished | Zaralek Cavern |
Six of the seven are simply the Zaralek Cavern campaign run in order. Doing the campaign quests one after another completes them without any thought, and most people report the whole cavern half taking about twenty minutes of quest turn-ins if they were already up to date.
The one that strands people: A Creche Divided
This is the single most reported problem with the achievement, and it happens to anyone who used the campaign skip to get into patch 10.1 quickly. The skip hands you the Zaralek content but never credits A Creche Divided, so you end up with six green lines, one grey one, and no visible quest anywhere.
The fix is a quest that does not appear in your campaign log.
Fly to 76.8 38.6 on the Forbidden Reach. That is the far east of the map, on the south edge of Dragonskull Island, just outside the cave system where a patch of greenery sits. Scalecommander Emberthal and Ebyssian are standing there talking about the aftermath, and Emberthal offers Return to Viridia.
You have to be very close to her for the quest to appear. There is no exclamation mark visible from the air, so land next to the pair rather than circling above them.
Hand it in to Viridia at 34.6 57.6 and A Creche Divided goes green.
The other reason it does not pop
The final chapter ends on top of the pillar with the dragons. When the last quest is handed in, talk to the red dragon standing there. Several players have finished every storyline, seen all seven criteria complete, and still not had the achievement, and this last conversation is what awards it.
The step between the two halves
After the Forbidden Reach half is done, nothing tells you where to go next. Return to Valdrakken, to the top of the Seat of the Aspects, and the quest The Land Beneath is waiting. That is the door into Zaralek Cavern, and people who miss it conclude the campaign has ended.
Where it fits
A piece of Dragon Isles Pathfinder, itself part of A World Awoken. It also opens Zaralek Cavern, which is a whole branch of its own in Que Zara(lek), Zara(lek), so this is the achievement that unlocks the most other work.
