Defeat the Fractured Causality, the boss that closes a Time Rift, in each of the seven realities.

What the achievement asks

Defeat the Fractured Causality, the boss that closes a Time Rift, in each of the seven realities. Ten points, account-wide.

Where and when

Rifts open at the Temporal Conflux in Thaldraszus, where Soridormi stands at 51.5 57.1. They begin at the top of the hour and run about twenty minutes, and each one leads to a different reality.

The seven, and who you are killing in each

RealityThe boss at the end
AzmourneThe Lich King
AzewrathIllidan Stormrage
Azq'rothThe Fury of N'Zoth
The WarlandsVarian Wrynn
A.Z.E.R.O.T.H.Overlord Mechagon
AzmerlothMurloc Gil'dan
UlderothFreya

Each is a twisted version of a story you already know, and the boss is the tell: if the rift ends with the Lich King, you were in Azmourne.

The cycle, and why it means you cannot be unlucky

Players tracking rifts report a fixed seven-hour cycle running in the order of the table above, from Azmourne round to Ulderoth and back again. With one rift an hour, that means every reality comes up once every seven hours without fail.

So there is no farming here and no bad luck to suffer through. Seven consecutive rifts covers all seven realities. In practice nobody plays seven hours straight, so the sensible approach is to note which one you got today and come back tomorrow at a different hour: two sessions at different times of day will usually leave you needing one or two.

Open your map in Thaldraszus while a rift is running and hover its icon. It tells you what this hour has brought before you fly over, which saves the trip when it is a reality you have already cleared.

What actually gives credit

The Fractured Causality has to die while you are there and have taken part. Turning up for the last thirty seconds of an already-dying boss is a gamble; being present through the rift is not.

The bosses themselves are public-event bosses rather than raid bosses. With a normal crowd they fall quickly, and no group, role or gear check is involved.

Where it fits

One of ten under Closing Time, a piece of A World Awoken. Running the seven realities also carries you a long way through Just Following Chronological Orders, which wants 100 tasks.
