What the achievement asks
Kill the first three bosses of Ny'alotha, the Waking City: Wrathion, the Black Emperor, Maut and The Prophet Skitra. Ten points, account-wide, both factions.
These are the opening encounters, with nothing to unlock first. Ny'alotha is the last raid of Battle for Azeroth and the largest, at twelve bosses, so this is the shallow end.
The three
Wrathion opens the raid. The black dragon last seen as an ally is here as the first thing standing in your way.
Maut follows, a void-touched creature that eats magic.
The Prophet Skitra closes the wing, fighting through illusions of himself rather than head on.
How the raid divides up
Ny'alotha splits into four achievements, and all four are needed for the raid to count:
- Vision of Destiny: Wrathion, Maut, The Prophet Skitra
- Halls of Devotion: Dark Inquisitor Xanesh, The Hivemind, Vexiona, Ra-den the Despoiled
- Gift of Flesh: Shad'har the Insatiable, Drest'agath, Il'gynoth
- The Waking Dream: Carapace of N'Zoth, N'Zoth the Corruptor
Vision of Destiny names no difficulty, so Raid Finder earns it. The parent achievement Ny'alotha, the Waking City is the one the meta counts, and it requires Normal difficulty or higher.
