What the achievement asks
Reach Esteemed reputation with the Artisan's Consortium. Ten points, account-wide.
The Artisan's Consortium is the professions faction of the expansion, and its reputation normally trickles in from crafting work. If you are not a dedicated crafter, that trickle is slow enough to be the last thing standing in its branch.
The item that changes the maths
Use a Contract: Artisan's Consortium. With one active, every world quest you complete pays 150 reputation with the Consortium on top of its normal reward.
Buy the highest quality version you can find on the auction house. Contracts are crafted by scribes and come in quality tiers, and the reputation they pay scales with that quality. The difference between the cheapest and the best is large enough that the cheap one is a false economy.
From there this stops being a profession achievement and becomes a side effect of playing normally. Do the world quests you were going to do anyway, on any character, and the bar moves every time.
The one world quest it does not pay for
The Dragonscale Expedition's climbing gear world quest gives no Consortium reputation even with a contract up. Everything else does: the raft cataloguing quests, the banner quests, the ordinary kill and collect ones.
It is not worth avoiding the climbing quest, it is simply worth knowing before you conclude the contract has stopped working.
Where it fits
One of twelve under Oh My God, They Were Clutchmates, a piece of A World Awoken. The world quests you run for it also feed the renown factions in Friend of the Dragon Isles, so a contract turns one lap of the Isles into progress on two branches.
